Registration of Animal-Origin Products (DIPOA)
Specialized advisory services for product registration and legalization.
The Registration of Animal-Origin Products is a document issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA), which authorizes and legalizes the commercialization of food and goods derived from animals. This registration is mandatory for any product that requires regularization with MAPA before being placed on the market.

Which products require registration?
All animal-origin foods must be registered, including:
Meat and meat products
Milk and dairy products
Eggs and honey
Fish and seafood products
Who must apply?
Companies that produce, process, import, or export animal-origin products must obtain the registration to operate legally in Brazil and abroad.
What are DIPOA and SIF?
The Department of Inspection of Animal-Origin Products (DIPOA) is the division of MAPA responsible for coordinating the Federal Inspection Service (SIF), which ensures the quality and safety of animal-origin products marketed in Brazil and in international markets.
The SIF carries out inspections and oversight in registered establishments, ensuring that products comply with current sanitary and labeling regulations.
