On September 1, 2025, the Brazil Vietnam Chamber and Invest Paraná signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at expanding economic, commercial, and institutional cooperation opportunities between the State of Paraná and Vietnam. The document was signed by Giancarlo Rocco, Director of International and Institutional Relations at Invest Paraná, and Victor Key, President of the Brazil Vietnam Chamber.
Invest Paraná, the Investment Promotion Agency of the Government of the State of Paraná, serves as the gateway for those seeking to invest in the state. Acting as a bridge between the government and the private sector, Invest Paraná is a strategic partner for international investors and companies looking to establish operations in Paraná, offering a wide range of services and resources to ensure the success of new ventures.
With a specialized team, the agency provides detailed information about the business environment, identifies investment opportunities, and helps determine ideal locations for company installations. Additionally, it plays a key role in promoting exports, opening markets, and attracting sustainable investments that drive the state’s economic growth.
The Memorandum of Understanding aims to promote bilateral cooperation through joint actions in institutional, human, economic, and commercial areas. Both parties committed to supporting the development of investment projects, promoting the exchange of strategic information about markets and business opportunities, and implementing initiatives focused on innovation and sustainability. The agreement also includes the sharing of training programs, seminars, and exchange activities, as well as encouraging joint participation in trade fairs, conferences, and business missions.
According to Victor Key, President of the Brazil Vietnam Chamber, the signing of this protocol represents an important step in consolidating economic relations between Brazil and Vietnam:
“Invest Paraná is recognized for its efficiency in promoting investments and its commitment to sustainable development. This agreement establishes a solid foundation for bringing Brazilian and Vietnamese companies closer together, fostering new projects, expanding trade flows, and strengthening institutional dialogue between the two regions.”
The agreement reinforces the mutual commitment of both institutions to sustainable and integrated development, creating favorable conditions for companies from both countries to find new opportunities and strategic partnerships. With this initiative, the State of Paraná positions itself as a strategic entry point for Asian companies in Brazil, while Vietnam stands out as a dynamic hub for Latin American exports to Southeast Asia.
