The Brazil Vietnam Chamber (BVC) and the Brazil–Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Espírito Santo (CCBV-ES) formalized the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at strengthening institutional cooperation and expanding business opportunities between Brazil and Vietnam.

The ceremony, held in a private institutional format, was attended by His Excellency Ambassador of Vietnam to Brazil, Bui Van Nghi, and Ms. Pham Hong Trang, Head of the Trade Office of the Embassy of Vietnam in São Paulo, as well as chamber members including Paulo Lam, Pascal Vo, and Augusto Buffulin.

The agreement is the result of months of dialogue between the leadership of both institutions, who identified synergies and the need for joint action to support companies, promote trade missions, exchange strategic information, and foster bilateral business development initiatives.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Bui Van Nghi highlighted the importance of collaboration between the institutions to advance economic relations between the two countries, emphasizing that coordinated work between the chambers directly helps connect businesses and generate tangible results.

“The joint work between the chambers strengthens the bridge between Brazil and Vietnam and creates stronger conditions to expand bilateral trade and investment,” the Ambassador stated.

In his remarks, Victor Key, President of the Brazil Vietnam Chamber, reinforced the strategic nature of the partnership and the role of the institutions as facilitators of the business environment.

“This Memorandum represents more than a formal act. It is a long-term commitment to connect networks, share knowledge, and turn opportunities into concrete projects for our companies,” he noted.

Bernard Vassas, President of CCBV-ES, emphasized that the relationship between the two countries goes beyond trade, highlighting the importance of culture and sports as strategic tools for integration and mutual understanding between Brazil and Vietnam, helping strengthen institutional ties and create a more favorable environment for long-term partnerships.

With the signing of the MOU, both chambers will act in a coordinated manner in trade promotion initiatives, business delegations, joint events, and institutional support for their members, consolidating a shared agenda to strengthen bilateral relations.

The initiative marks the beginning of a new phase of cooperation between the institutions, focused on practical results and the expansion of business presence in both markets.
