The announcement was made during the association’s general assembly by ABRA’s president, Mr. Décio Coutinho, with the presence of the president of the Brazil Vietnam Chamber, Mr. Victor Key, who reinforced the Chamber’s institutional commitment to strengthening commercial relations between the two countries.

In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of establishing continuous supply contracts and advancing logistical integration between the production chains as essential foundations for more efficient and sustainable cooperation.

Ms. Trang also presented immediate action proposals, including a thematic business meeting between Vietnamese companies and Brazilian manufacturers and suppliers, aiming to align technical standards and open paths for concrete partnerships.

For the medium term, she highlighted the opportunity to create a joint venture to install processing units in Vietnam, along with the need for harmonized technical standards and simplified sanitary inspection procedures to increase competitiveness and reduce operational barriers.

She stated, “Vietnam is ready to be a strategic partner in a sustainable, efficient and competitive supply chain. We are very interested in advancing the dialogue with ABRA and its member companies.”
