From August 28 to September 5, 2025, Hanoi hosted one of the most remarkable events in its recent history: the Exhibition of 80 Years of National Achievements, held at the Vietnam Exposition Centre in Dong Anh. With the theme “80 Years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness”, the exhibition showcased the nation’s struggle, resilience, and development since the proclamation of independence on September 2, 1945.
The opening ceremony featured the country’s highest political leaders, including the Party General Secretary, To Lam, and the Prime Minister, Pham Minh Chinh, along with former leaders and National Assembly chairs. Around 300 entities representing ministries, agencies, provinces, cities, and major corporations participated, presenting achievements in nearly 180 sectors of political, economic, cultural, and social life in Vietnam.

More than 230 booths across 260,000 square meters highlighted advances in science and technology as well as the cultural richness of the 54 ethnic groups. Thematic areas, such as “Aspiration for the Sky”, “Economic Locomotives”, and “Culture Lights the Way for the Nation”, emphasized not only progress but also ambitions for the future.
The Brazil Vietnam Chamber had the honor of attending, represented by Vice President Mr. Natã Oliveira, invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam. His participation reinforces the Chamber’s commitment to monitor strategic developments in Vietnam and strengthen institutional and cultural ties between Brazil and Vietnam.
According to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, the exhibition celebrates achievements and inspires new generations toward a prosperous and sustainable future.
The presence of Vice President Natã Oliveira, particularly by official invitation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, symbolizes the importance of building bridges across multiple sectors, extending beyond trade to also embrace culture, education, and institutional strengthening.
