On September 9, 2025, the Brazil-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Brazil Vietnam Chamber) carried out an institutional visit to Hanoi University, marking another important step in promoting academic cooperation between the two countries.
The delegation was led by the Chamber’s President, Mr. Victor Key, accompanied by Vice President, Mr. Natã Oliveira. Also present was Ms. Nguyen Vu Thu Ha, Director of the Portuguese Language Department at Hanoi University, along with professors and representatives of the institution.
Discussions included the possibility of an official visit to Brazil by the university’s rector later in 2025, with the aim of strengthening ties with Brazilian institutions and exploring new academic exchange opportunities. The Chamber also offered support in building strategic partnerships with Brazilian universities.
Another key topic was the progress toward finalizing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which will serve as a foundation for future cooperation initiatives in areas such as student mobility, joint research, and academic programs.
This visit highlights the Latam Vietnam Chamber’s role as a facilitator of not only business but also educational connections, recognizing education as an essential driver in strengthening bilateral relations.
