On July 7, 2025, the Vietnam-Brazil Trade Promotion Seminar was held in Rio de Janeiro, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, in partnership with the FCCE (Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Entrepreneurs of Brazil). The event brought together authorities, government representatives, and business leaders from various sectors interested in exploring business opportunities between the two countries.

Key attendees included the President of the FCCE, Mr. Adair Roberto Carneiro, and the Deputy Director General of the Department of International Market Development of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Ms. Vo Hong Anh. Their presence reinforced the commitment of both countries to strengthen commercial ties and expand bilateral economic cooperation.

During the seminar, Victor Key, President of the Brazil-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Brazil Vietnam Chamber), delivered a presentation highlighting the main business opportunities in Vietnam. He emphasized strategic sectors for investment, including agribusiness, food industry, technology, infrastructure, and renewable energy, highlighting the country’s growth potential.

Additionally, Victor Key took the opportunity to invite the attending entrepreneurs to participate in the business mission to Vietnam, scheduled for September 2025, providing direct exposure to the Vietnamese market and potential strategic partnerships. The invitation reinforced the importance of active private sector participation in expanding Brazil-Vietnam commercial relations and strengthening a bilateral business network.

The seminar also offered opportunities for networking and exchange of experiences, allowing Brazilian entrepreneurs to better understand the Vietnamese business environment and identify potential local partners. The collaboration between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the FCCE reinforces the strategy of promoting economic integration, facilitating access for Brazilian companies to new markets, and contributing to the sustainable and mutually beneficial growth of both economies.

The event established itself as a strategic platform for promoting investments and bilateral trade, fostering direct dialogue between government authorities and business leaders and highlighting Vietnam’s relevance as an economic and commercial partner for Brazil.
