The Foreign Trade in Focus program, aired on October 3, 2025, by TVI of Petrópolis (RJ) and hosted by Roberto Nóbrega, highlighted the remarkable growth of trade relations between Brazil and Vietnam.
During the program, Nóbrega emphasized that bilateral trade between the two countries has already reached 8 billion dollars, consolidating Vietnam as one of Brazil’s main partners in Asia. He also commented on the success of the Brazilian business mission to Vietnam, held in early September in Ho Chi Minh City, under the leadership of Victor Key, President of the Brazil–Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The delegation included 15 Brazilian entrepreneurs, who took part in institutional meetings and business rounds.
The episode also featured an informative video about Vietnam, highlighting its position as the third-largest economy in Southeast Asia, with a GDP exceeding 400 billion dollars. The country ranks among the top 20 global destinations for foreign direct investment and top 20 international traders. With stable growth, a commitment to carbon neutrality by 2050, and advances in innovation, green economy, and digital transformation, Vietnam stands out as a safe and promising destination for global investors.
Nóbrega also underscored Vietnam’s strategic role as a member of ASEAN and a prospective member of BRICS.
The episode reinforced Vietnam’s growing prominence and Brazil’s commitment to strengthening economic ties with the Asian nation.
