Meeting discussed bringing companies from Jundiaí closer to the Vietnamese market

The Brazil-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BVC) participated, on August 5, 2026, in a meeting at Jundiaí City Hall to present business, investment and international trade opportunities in Vietnam and discuss possibilities for cooperation with the municipality.

Representing the BVC were Mr. Victor Key, President of the Chamber, and Ms. Maria Helena Afonso. The meeting aimed to connect Jundiaí’s economic development ecosystem with the opportunities offered by the Vietnamese market, creating new possibilities for companies in the municipality.

During the meeting, Jundiaí City Hall presented to the BVC its main initiatives and programs designed to promote economic growth, job creation, innovation and investment attraction. The programs presented included Emprega+, +Negócios, Inova+ and Investe+ Jundiaí.

Jundiaí’s strengths as an economic and industrial hub were also highlighted. The city has a strategic location in the State of São Paulo, close to major economic centers which, together, account for approximately 26% of Brazil’s GDP. The municipality also stands out for its human and sustainable development indicators, safety, and for having the eighth-largest industrial park in the State of São Paulo.

Representing Jundiaí City Hall at the meeting were Mr. Humberto Cereser, Secretary of Economic Development, Science and Technology, Ms. Laura Cardoso, Special Advisor for International Cooperation, Mr. Mark Monteiro, Director, Mr. Thiago Antunes, Director of Science and Technology, and Mr. Gilson Piccioli, Director of Industrial Development Promotion.

The BVC, in turn, presented the opportunities available in Vietnam and highlighted the Chamber’s role in facilitating business, identifying partners and bringing Brazilian and Vietnamese companies closer together.

Among the topics discussed was the possibility of developing a partnership to promote investment opportunities in Vietnam to business leaders in Jundiaí, allowing companies in the municipality greater access to information about the Vietnamese market and its strategic sectors.

Opportunities in international trade were also discussed, both for companies in Jundiaí interested in accessing the Vietnamese market and for identifying Vietnamese companies interested in establishing commercial relations with Brazil.

The BVC’s participation reinforces its role as an institutional and business bridge between the two countries, helping bring Brazilian companies closer to opportunities in Vietnam while also presenting the potential of the Brazilian market to Vietnamese companies.

For the Chamber, closer relations with Jundiaí represent a strategic opportunity, considering the municipality’s economic importance, strong industrial base and privileged location in the State of São Paulo.

The meeting also paves the way for new joint initiatives, including promotional activities, business meetings, and trade and investment promotion initiatives, strengthening Vietnam’s presence on the internationalization agenda of companies in Jundiaí.

The BVC will continue working to build connections between the municipality and the Vietnamese market, seeking to transform the opportunities presented into new partnerships, investments and business between Jundiaí and Vietnam.
