Dinner in São Paulo brought together Vietnam’s Ambassador, state government representatives, and business leaders to strengthen dialogue and bilateral economic relations.

On October 21, 2026, the Brazil Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BVC) helped foster institutional ties between Vietnam and Brazilian business leaders at a dinner held at the Fasano Restaurant in São Paulo.

The event was hosted by Mr. Caio Santomo and organized by Mr. Fernando Garnero, in partnership with Mr. Tadeu Lockermann. Participants included the Ambassador of Vietnam to Brazil, His Excellency Bui Van Nghi; Ms. Lê Hồng Ngọc, Civil Attaché at the Embassy of Vietnam; and Ms. Tania Dias, Chief of Staff of the São Paulo State Secretariat for Economic Development.

The meeting was made possible through the institutional outreach led by Victor Key, President of the BVC, with the aim of bringing together diplomatic representatives, public-sector officials, and Brazilian business leaders interested in expanding their relations with Vietnam.

Business representatives included Mr. Caio Santomo of CSX Holding and CSX Minerals; Mr. Alexandre Damas of Monte Carlo Multipropriedades; Mr. João Brasio of Elytron CyberSecurity; Mr. Fernando Garnero and Mr. Ricardo Ribeiro of Brasilinvest S.A.; and Mr. Tadeu Lockermann of Protagonistas do Brasil.

The participation of business leaders from different sectors highlighted the potential to expand bilateral relations in areas such as tourism, investment, technology, mining, and energy.

For the BVC, bringing together institutions, public authorities, and the private sector is an essential step toward turning interest in the Vietnamese market into concrete initiatives for economic and commercial cooperation.

The Chamber reaffirms its commitment to serving as a bridge between Brazil and Vietnam by promoting institutional dialogue, facilitating business connections, and contributing to stronger relations between the two countries.
