Vietnamese Companies Make Their Mark at Intermodal 2026

18/04/2026

The 30th edition of Intermodal South America, held from April 14 to 16, 2026, at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo, brought together more than 700 national and international brands and recorded 50,655 professionals in attendance, surpassing the previous edition’s total visitor count by more than 25%. The event, considered the largest in Latin America for logistics, cargo transport, and foreign trade, also served as the stage for a significant Vietnamese presence, with four Vietnamese companies attending alongside BVC President Victor Key.

The initiative is part of the Brazil Vietnam Chamber’s strategy to bring Vietnamese players closer to the Brazilian logistics and business ecosystem, building concrete bridges between the two markets.

The Vietnamese companies present

Super Cargo Service, a BVC member company and Vietnamese freight forwarder with operations already established in Brazil, was represented by its manager, Ms. Kim Nguyen. With local partners already consolidated in the Brazilian market, the company arrives at Intermodal at a more advanced stage than most Vietnamese companies making their first foray into the country, seeking to deepen existing commercial relationships and expand its presence in Latin America.

Also present were HP Global, represented by its CEO, Mrs. Marry Hanh; Kim Son Group, represented by its chairman, Mr. Tran Kim Son; and BR Sports Viet, represented by its director, Mr. Erik Wagner.

The presence of these companies at a single event reflects a broader movement: the growing interest of Vietnamese businesses in establishing direct commercial ties with Brazil, capitalizing on Vietnam’s strategic shift from a manufacturing destination to a global business protagonist.

Intermodal as a strategic platform for the bilateral relationship

With 30 years of history and the title of the world’s second-largest logistics event, Intermodal South America represents a singular opportunity for foreign companies seeking entry into the Brazilian market. The event brings together, over three days, decision-makers from across the entire logistics chain, from port operators and carriers to shippers, technology companies, and public sector representatives. For Vietnamese companies that see Brazil as a gateway to Latin America, presence at Intermodal carries strategic value that goes well beyond an exhibition booth.

Brazil’s logistics and freight market is projected to grow from US$ 104.79 billion in 2024 to US$ 129.34 billion by 2029, according to Cobli forecasts. This context makes Brazil a relevant destination for logistics service companies seeking new markets.

Testimonial

Ms. Kim Nguyen, Manager of Super Cargo Service, shared her perspective on the company’s participation in the fair:

“Super Cargo Service’s participation in Intermodal 2026 confirmed what we already knew about Brazil: it is a real-scale market, with a sophisticated and rapidly expanding logistics chain. For Super Cargo, which already operates with Brazilian partners and knows the sector’s dynamics firsthand, taking part in this edition was an opportunity to deepen existing relationships and open new conversations in an environment that concentrates in three days what would otherwise take months to build through individual visits. It is remarkable to see decision-makers from across the entire chain gathered in a single space, from port operators to shippers, from carriers to technology firms. Intermodal is Latin America’s main logistics connection point, and being present here carries a different weight. It builds credibility, opens doors, and accelerates business. Brazil and Vietnam have real complementarities, and this is precisely the kind of environment where those complementarities turn into concrete agreements.”

BVC as a facilitator of Vietnamese presence

Super Cargo Service’s participation in Intermodal 2026 was supported by the Brazil Vietnam Chamber, which worked on scheduling coordination, partner introductions, and representation at the event. For BVC, the initiative reinforces an ongoing line of work: positioning the Chamber as an active facilitator of Vietnamese presence in Brazil, not merely as an information reference, but as a hands-on business connector.

The next edition of Intermodal South America is confirmed for April 13 to 15, 2027, at the same Distrito Anhembi venue.
